INTRODUCTION

The Badminton Essex Performance Centre is one of Badminton England’s accredited Performance Centres and is based in Basildon, Essex.

The Badminton Essex South Performance Centre was launched in 2008 upon being awarded Performance Centre status by Badminton England in recognition of its high standards that the club represents, and its drive to deliver the champions of tomorrow.

The Performance Centre is centred around the junior club “The Badminton Academy” which has been running since 2002 and today delivers the club pathway element of the Performance Centre’s activities. Our club venue is the David Lloyd Leisure Club in Basildon, Essex and is a forward thinking academy where players are encouraged to play hard, have fun and make friends.

With over 150 players, The Badminton Essex South Performance Centre has sessions for everyone from beginners through to national level players and regularly delivers players for the junior Essex County Teams.
